Occupational Therapists are expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills with patient treatment plan development and implementation. Under the direction of the Rehab Services Manager, the Occupational Therapist (OT) collaborates with therapy and nursing teams to help patients achieve the highest clinical outcome using evidenced based practices. The OT provides patient instruction, treatment, and training to restore patient independence in activities of daily living. The Occupational Therapist teaches and trains patients, caregivers, and support staff with consistent methods and approaches.
